I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
