I have enjoyed millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
