I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
