I have bet on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
